There are a few versions out there - pick the one that fits with what you have on hand!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 c ice water
- 2/3 c sugar
- 1 1/2 c non fat dry milk powder
- 1/4 c cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp oil
- 5 second spray of Pam (cooking spray)
- 4-5 c ice cubes
The Chunky Chef has a short and sweet recipe that calls for just three ingredients. Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. This is based in 4 servings, so scale it accordingly.
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream (softened slightly)
- 1 cup milk
- 8-9 tsp Nesquik or other chocolate milk powder
A Beautiful Mess also shared a three-ingredient version, but theirs recommends an ice cream maker. (I'm actually thinking of trying this one this week, because I bought an ice cream maker literally years ago and for whatever reason have yet to actually use it.)
- 4 cups chocolate milk
- 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 4 ounces whipped topping
Blend all the ingredients together. Pour into an ice cream maker and run it for 20-30 minutes, or pour into a freezer-safe container and freeze for about two hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
